When to Schedule Professional Squirrel Removal Service

Squirrels come in all different kinds of species and can easily make themselves at home in your residential or commercial property. This can lead to a lot of damage to the structure of your home or place of business, as materials such as insulation can provide great nesting material for squirrels. Not only that, but they can bring things like seeds and nuts into your property as well as spread diseases, parasites, and even other pests.

Do you know if there are squirrels in your property? Keep an eye out for these signs:

  • Scratching noises in your walls or ceiling
  • Increased noise in the early morning or prior to sunset
  • Insulation from your attic or walls outside of your home or commercial property
  • Chewed-up wires
  • Unpleasant smells or staining on your ceiling
  • Water damage or mold from holes created by squirrels

Any of the signs in the list above are a good reason to call professionals. Even if you are not sure if there are squirrels in your home, you should be better safe than sorry. We can help you locate the site of the infestation and remove these creatures before they cause more damage to your home or place of business.

In order to keep squirrels out of your home long term, we recommend installing exclusion methods on your property. We can help you seal potential entry points. We also recommend trimming trees that are close to your roofline in order to discourage squirrels from making the leap onto your roof.
